Aldo Chiappe was born in
Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1962. Since 1987 he has worked
professionally as an illustrator specializing in Neotropical flora and
fauna , natural sciences and conservation. He has participated
in many collaborations for technical books, field guides,
periodicals, posters, and monographs. For years, many of
his works have illustrated the most prestigious nature publications of
Agrentina. (Clarín, Atlántida, etc.) Among his principle works

Along with his career as an
illustrator, Aldo Chiappe also works in plastics, specializing in
wildlife and exhibiting his work at numerous expositions in Argentina
and around the world.
Many of his illustrations
and paintings have been parts of nature conservation campaigns by
providing funding through sales or dissemination of information.
He is currently working on
illustrations for the book "Birds of Argentina and South Atlantic,"
Editorial A&C Black de Gran Bretaña, along with illustrations for a
diverse range of editorial projects in Argentina.
